Bang for my buck up to 350 $$

I've been out of car audio for a long time. I'm now looking for a sub amp to do RMS power above 1500. I've seen a bunch of people talking about these brands. Let me know your thoughts. audio pipe 3000 . American bass ph4000 and vfl hybrid 4801. Skar 1500, or lower line at 2000. Audio legion 1500. Looks like sundown is to much cash per watt. Same with a lot of brands. What do you think

I haven't used it but of those I would choose vfl hybrid

I had a ap1500 and it did great fan was noisy but it worked

Imo though save up a couple hundred more and get a 4K or 5k

You can always run it at 2 or 4 ohms or set gains low

Just as a future proof kind of upgrade

the CAB I tested was just as loud as the audiopipe apcl 1500, not any louder nor cleaner sounding either. Definitely waay overhyped of an amp. Another guy local to me did swaps between them as well, said the same thing.

OP get those american bass amps outta that list. asap.

only VFL you use is the REAL korean made vfls that actually perform right. Not that undersized chinese unreliable junk.

You can get a soundqubed 2200.1 or an FSD 2600.1 for under 350 shipped if you go on facebook classifieds. Locally there was an FSD 2600.1 for 220$... I couldnt hop on that sh*T fast enough.

Is that 350 for subs and amp? I have a skar rp1500. The rp 2000 looks promising also.

Or m4a for $700

At $350 for a 1500-2000w amp might as well spend a little extra and get a big amp

Unless you have space constraints or really don't care they just buy any old 1500w amp

Heck I run my $99 shark 1500 at .5 ohm and drop it to 10v all the time

Keeps running and putting out power

Thanks. I'm looking to run it on 2 sa8, or 1 x8, then eventually get another. It's going in a Silverado cab and a half, no back doors. Years ago I did extremely well with 2 Memphis st1100 d's. 4 15's doing 156db, or even 1 15 I was @ 150. ,, Just good box and burps.

Yea, thanks. I worked at a few shops in the late 90's early 2000s. I had some real good help with a guy who help design the kove Armageddon subs. I went from 47s with what I thought was a good box , and blowing subs up often, to 54. In minutes at a competition, buy him calculating a better port, fixed it on the spot. I had to much port and it peaked lower then resident frequency.

Anyways,

I heard massive and America bass share the same board on the 4000 nano.

How are the maxxsonic family brands.

Any luck with that 10k hiphonic? Would it do 4k RMS?

The ap3k is 2 1500s internally strapped, so 1ohm would be .5 per amp.
