bandpass or sealed in a sedan?

whats up. im new here and ive been out of car audio for quite a few years...anyhoot im tryin to get my girlfreinds civic sedan setup ...weve got the TV DVD new...and we are using some stuff we already had..bluapunct head ..kenwood 600watt amp 5 years old but blown many a subs. ...but heres my problem..i have a 12in bazzoka in a bandpass.this thing sounds like crap in the trunk of the civic (it was in a hatch, sounded great) what should i do? ive never owned a sedan, nothin but hatches..should i buy a sealed box or what about making a couple of ports in the rear deck? would that do it? help.//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crazy.gif.c13912c32de98515d3142759a824dae7.gif

Make yourself a ported box.. it'll sound awesome~
