banana plugs enough?

I'm building a ported enclosure for my 6.5s, and I am wanting to make it an easily removable piece. I also want easy access to changing polarity for imaging once I begin my tuning. I am thinking about mounting banana plug mounts into the fiberglassed enclosure. The only problem is that the center of the terminal is hollow. Will the tightness of the banana plug be airtight enough? I will obviously silicone or fiberglass around the mount, but will that be enough?

air tightness is not so important in a ported enclosure as it is in a sealed one...dont get me wrong its important but the port is your lead 'exhaust' way anyways and the air in the box doesnt serve as the drivers controler as it does in a sealed enclosure....just silicone around it and ull be fine
