ok everyone was right about bahns they sound really good but ull prolly get like three months out of them if your lucky i had two ALUM12Q's powred at exactly 1000Watts RMS and both of them blew

MY AMP STILL WORKS

now i need 2 12's they need to be around 1000 watts rms and i was jw if you had any recomindations i only have like 300-350 dollars

Well first off did you set your gains with a dmm, if not, then it wouldnt be wise to buy more subs, and play them off that cliped signal.

There is more to a subwoofer's lifespan than how many watts your amplifier is rated at. While Im no fan of Abahn's, I'll take your post that they **** because they couldn't take 1000 watts each for more than 3 months with a grain of salt.

Since when do Audiobanhs sound good?

The ones in my truck sound amazing! They are the new High Excursion series. I have 4 of the AW1200N subs in my truck and the SQ is great! Seriously. It was hard for me to accept at first too...but these subs sound good!

yeah they will for about three months... just like mine I WILL NEVER BUY AUDIOBAHN again and i hope u have a warranty but i didnt so im basically ****ed

Would you be opposed to 1 12 instead of 2? You probably could fit a nice sized ported box for 1. I don't know if 2 would be pushing it.

how did you set your gain?
