2 RL-p 12 vs. 2 DD2512

i would like know how these two subs compare to each other. any first hand experience would be great. i am looking for 2 subs in the 450$ range, also dual 4 ohm, so i can wire to 1ohm. i would also like suggestions on an amp that can power these subs. i am looking for a mainly sql setup. should i go sealed or ported? thanx
