ok... update for the day....
started by filling the gap in the roof
then after ALOT of measuring, measuring, measuring, and more measuring... i ended up having to change the angle of the baffles from 45* to 30*, due to the mounting depth and the fact that my AQ's have an 8" motor...
first baffle that finally fit
changing the angle, means i'll have to extend the front of the box 2"
then double baffled it (dont know why it took it in black and white)
lil preview of the bottom part of the clamshell...
shot from the back (of course, i'll need bracing... you can tell how heavy these subs are, with the flex... even with a double baffle, lol)
and just a shot, showing how lil clearance i have... doing a clamshell is a bitc
h!
so... thats about 6 hours of work down... not much done, as far big picture... but, atleast got the hardest part done (figuring out the perfect angle)....
stay tuned, more updates tomorrow
