bagged montero rebuild... 4 t3 audio t1000 15's

haha, just wait till I can start my build //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif. I will have the largest/most powerful sub system in a jeep wrangler that still has use of all 4 of its seats....:p

ok guys.. video of the day. got the dash, center console, and the rest of the door panels pulled out. just have to pull the seats, carpet, and a few other small panels.

this is mainly going to be a change of color for the entire interior... but there are a few suprises in store.

now... the question of the day... do you guys think i should re-cover the dash, or glass and paint it?? still trying to decide.

i'm not being a "*****" bro... i dont want it to lay frame... how bout you not be a dik .... bro.

as for the re5, i'm using it for a reason... it with a cup set up will give me the drop and ride height i'm looking for

ok there, master of everything automotive... i forgot, i'm brand new to all of this... havent been doing it for over 10 years.... but your right, the re5's are too small for the weight of the front of my truck.... they only have a force of 1108 pounds at 80 psi each, while the contitech's i'm running right now only have a force of 900 lbs. this on a truck with a gross weight of 2600 pounds, with a close to 40/60 split... meaning that the front end that is SO heavy weighs in at around 1100-1200 pounds... so with a combined lift capability of 2200 pounds.... they definately wont lift it.

you are just awesome at life ... broham

just incase you cant get the sarcasm... they have PLENTY of lift capability for my front end... and the reason that i'm using them, instead of the 6's is for their collapsed size and usable stroke

what do i need to learn from you? how to properly bag a truck?

a proper notch? done it, over and over

a 4 link? once again... many times

a 3 link with a panhard bar? once again, many times

a cantilever setup? been there, done that

i have built many frame draggers bro... and you think just cuz this one isnt, that you kno more than me about anything. who's really the tool here? my set up doesnt call for it to drag frame... but it will have a mini notch, a 3 link, and a cup set up up front.

just dont get as to why the fact that i dont feel like tubbing my montero out rubs you the wrong way? i would LOVE to see some pics of any of your builds... cuz you talk such a big game. honestly if you dont like the way i'm doing my build, than dont watch it... but dont try to call my knowledge into question, because i dont want to throw drag blocks on my truck... jack ass

a quick update... got a shipment in today... can you say mids/highs...

mXFoS.jpg

each door will have:

1 8" fosgate sub (midbass)

2 cadence 6.5's (midrange, highs)

memphis pr 6.5 coaxials will be used as well, not sure where (probably kickplates)

will also be adding a pair of 4" coax's in the a-pillars

video update of the day:

got some work done on the dash... also worked a lil on the door panels, and other misc. shit

more updates coming tomorrow. hoping to get the majority of the interior pieces done this weekend, and then, maybe, actually get started on the box... but we'll see how it all goes

Just a side note. Test out those Cadence crossovers and make sure they are working properly. My set off eBay was really hard to screw the terminals in and after about 10-15 minutes of use the tweeter terminal quit working completely lol. The company replaced it free of charge though.

update of the day guys... got more work done on the dash... hopefullly have it done and painted tomorrow

also re-designed the box... figured out how to make the clamshell work properly... 22 ft cubed after discplacement, tuned to 38 hz... with 14.5 in2 of port per foot

ok guys... no real work done in the last couple days... but just wanted to get your opinions...

looking for front stage amp(s)... looking for suggestions... here's what i need.

either a 4 channel and a mono or 5 channel....

need 200x4 for the mid range, and 300x1 for the mid bass...

suggestions (just trying to see what your expereinces have been)
