subs are in seperate chamber. i no its not a rattle because when i free floated it the nise was coming from behinf the cone just like sumone said earlier. i talked to RE and they think its the inner dust cab and yes i only does it at higher levels

take it out and see if the cone is becoming separated from the spiders... mine did that and it made a similar noise...
