Bad HU?

When I am driving the sound on all my speakers will cut out. I believe it is the head unit because I have separate amps for the doors and subs. When the sound does cut out I don't get anything from any of the speakers. When I continue driving it will turn back on and continue playing.

All of the lights on my HU stay on and the HU appears fully functional.

Is this a bad HU or do I have some other problems going on?
