hate the etymotics, can't stand them. e3c's>world. e4's are good, but too expensive. e5's will kill u they are almost ultimate ears quality

I actually agree with you about something, I own a pair of e3c's after doing TONS of research on headphone forums and such. I havent physically compared them to anything else in the price range, but I couldnt ask for anything more out of them.

I have the akg k.100's and are off the hook. Better be for just under 200 bucks.
