Bad ground!

The audio place that installed my system didn't have the ground tight and it was in a bad spot.

So anyways I was looking for a better place but could only find one and it was the bolt holding part of my back seat together.

my question is since it is touching my seat fabric is that bad? I did take it down to bare metal. I'm sure this is probably a stupid question but I am a newbie at this and don't truly understand electrical.

Find a better spot. Sand the paint off
