Bad gas mileage

Too bad your in FL.....if you were nearby I'd put you on in a heartbeat.
I only get people who had parents who did too much bad lsd in the 60's....or kids that call in constantly.

I'm seriously surrounded by white trash, and little ghetto hood-rat wannabees. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/furious.gif.fc81ca146dbff91fede3ed290dbc4f4c.gif

I have a '97 Civic, and get about 30 city and I got 37 on the highway, but I drove it nice and didn't get it above 4k rpm.
I'm seeing about 350 miles per tank, which comes to 29.x mpg, also driving like a dickhead. My car sees redline everyday, also.

Change your fuel filter, plugs (I'm using NGK Iridiums), don't need to change your plug wires unless they're cracked or dry rotted, change the oil, (I use full synthetic, Royal Purple, $7/quart) you don't need to use it, but I do it for mine, because I drive it really hard, and change it now at about 5k miles. Air filter would be a good thing to change, get a K&N hi-flow drop in replacement, distributor cap and rotor, keep your tires up to spec for the pressure, and that's all I can think of right now.

I also had another suggestion, but I lost my train of thought, so I'll post back up when I remember.
Amsoil works better for me. did you ever tried it?

THATS WHAT IT WAS!!!! Seafoam. Best $7 you can spend on your car. The can is one pint. Add 1/3 pint to your intake, SLOWLY (don't want to hydrolock your motor), turn the car off if it hasn't already choked out, sit for 5 minutes, start her back up and go around the block at a high rpm, and it will clean out the top end, injecters, everything. There's also going to be a shit-ton of smoke. You will notice a lower, steadier idle, and less bogging when you accelerate.
Add another 1/3 of the can to you crank case (oil), and it will clean the junk and sludge on the lower end, and finally, add the remainder of the can to your gas. It was clean the fuel lines nicely.

SEAFOAM FTW!!!!
great stuff.

Amsoil is the only true *fully* synthetic oil.....and it's very expensive.
I think you have to get it directly from the vendor?
got it in stock at Murrays and i think Autozone carries it. expensive yes. last time i check it was almost 8 dollars a quart. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crap.gif.7f4dd41e3e9b23fbd170a1ee6f65cecc.gif doesn't help me. my Caddy needs 7.5qts //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crying.gif.ec0ebefe590df0251476573bc49e46d8.gif

AutoZone does not carry it.....I work there.//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif
