I wanna know what this gel is???
Dieletric Grease //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/imdaman.gif.bc6c552e19aa4ad8c47461144f40eb1a.gif

It prevents corrosion. It won't add any Deebeez, but it will prevent them from being taken away. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif

Or you can use a Conductive grease such as:

"NO-OX-ID "A-SPECIAL" is the electrical contact grease of choice for new electrical installations and maintenance. NO-OX-ID is an electrically conductive grease that keeps metals free from rust and corrosion. This electrically conductive grease which been used in the power industry for over 65 years to prevent corrosion in electrical connectors from low micro-power electronics to high voltage switchgear. NO-OX-ID electrical grease prevents the formation of oxides, sulfides and other corrosion deposits on copper, aluminum, and steel surfaces and conductors."

I agree about the Kappas having a lack of mid-bass. They sound too mid-rage/high end too me, like the 400hz - 2Khz range is bumped up. You might try messing with your EQ and see if you can kill some of the mid-range/high punch so more of your power is being used for the low end and higher end...

Was the bass weaker than before you replaced the factory speakers? If so then you've wired the pos/neg wrong... the speakers will cancel each other if you did.

Also don't expect pounding bass from 6x8s even if it's powered by an external amp.
