bad alt

Alright guy's just got back from the shop and found out why my car keeps dying this may sound really wierd but true though......i have my system running and my fog lights but turns out when the fog lights are still hooked to the battery it actually kills my battery so my car is . But found out it's because my alt is really weak //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crap.gif.7f4dd41e3e9b23fbd170a1ee6f65cecc.gif but i was going to get a standard alt 100amp because im so low on cash pull the system for the winter so i would just have mids and rears still good sound quality. But my question is once i go to put the system back in the spring with that 100 amp alt and still have the fog light's but instead of running the system to my battery up front if i put one in the trunk would that work?
