I have had pleanty of interviews and been hired at more then have of the places but when they complete there background check on me they always end up letting me go. What kinds of things do they let you go for when looking at a background check? I will admit that i did do something but it was 5 years ago and ive had jobs since then, graduated from college, and still when it comes to jobs that background check i can never keep that job. What is it that they look for that automaticly disqualifies you from employment. And by the way what i did 5 years ago was discharged in court and never convicted but yet it still happens. Why.

If i didnt explain that clear enough and need more info let me no.

What did you do.

well it wasn't a ****** offense. it was call felony embezzelment. I was at work 1 day and Loss prevention called me up stairs(pretending they were the HR manager) and when i got in there they sat me down and the guy told me there was a big amount of money and merchandise missing from the store. then he goes on by saying we know it was you and if you bring everything that you took back or the majority of it we wont call the cops and it will all stay between us. So i told them that i didnt take shit but i know how did and im not giving you any names. So they to ld me to go get what i can or else they were gonna call the cops and id be in jail for a while. So i left and came back with more then 85% of the missing stuff. so he checked what i brought back with a list of missing stuff. by the way this whole time another guy was writting down everything that was being said. So i asked the guy after this i get to go right? and he's all yeah as soon as im done doing this. So he finished and told me to sign what they ahd been writing. I browsed at it and noticed that he had put that i had taken all the stuff and said im not signing this. He said if you dont then ill call the police. So i just signed it and as soon as i did one guy walked out the room and came back in with a cop. he cuffed me and we left. But when we got out the building the cop told me "you know they messed up right" im all how is that? he said the same thing happened at circuit city 2 weeks ago and the guy walked because they really didnt no $hit about what happened and were guessing and blaming stuff on everyone and lying. He said id be out of jail within 1-2 hours. and sure enough i was. we went to court and it was a missing complaint and i was dischared and thats it. never convicted or anything.

So i dont know the deal here.

yeah that is a lil confusing huh. but thats how it happened. I didnt take any of the stuff but i did no who did take it. So i got the stuff and brought it back. Then they tell me to sign a paper saying that i took all the stuff or else im going to jail. And not to worry it stays between only the people in the room. LIARS!!!

You're stupid. You never sign a paper stating anything like that, especially without speaking with your attorney. They could have blamed you for murdering someone and you probably would have signed the paper. They don't call you in the room to be your friend and help you out, they are covering there *****.

Restated because...it's the truth.

Know exactly what you sign before you sign any legal document.

Also, getting involved in embezzlement is never usually a good thing //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif Even though you said you never were involved, being the bagman for the guys who did make you look awfully, awfully guilty. Because then it's nothing but your word against the guys who stole it.

Stay the **** away from situations like that.

You're an idiot on so many levels.

I would have told them who it was. Chances are it was that ****er who got you in the spot in the first place. Never take shit for anyones ****-ups
first thing first u never, ever, ever, snitch. He knew what was going on. And if he did not like the situation he could have left them ppl alone, and stayed as far away as humanly possible. But u never snitch, never.

NEVER SNITCH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

But u never snitch, never.
Why not? It's a choice for him to make...if a friend of mine committed murder, I'd find it **** hard to justify it to myself to let him escape justice for it. Embezzlement is much less of a crime, but why should I have to stick up for assholes, especially if I'm not friends with them?

But then they wouldnt think you're cool, Jack. You wanna be cool, dont ya?//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/naughty.gif.94359f346c0f1259df8038d60b41863e.gif
