Hi all If my signature shows up you will be able to see my old system in my car from 5 years ago. Well now I have my wife's 2007 Honda Civic EX Coupe and the radio has a short in it, so since I got a new Pioneer AVH-X3800BHS I have decided to build a new system. Here is the plan. I am going to stick with stock locations this time. BOOHOO no 8's in the door this time. So I am looking at 6.5's front and back, with the woofer facing slightly up in the door, and the tweeters are at the very far front corners of the dash, facing up to the windshield. In the back I have 6.5's and one 8" driver on the decklid.

I was looking at the Hertz HSK 165 Component set, But before I do I am wondering if there would be a better tweeter choice considering my cars speaker placements? My crossover points could be as so in an active situation.

Variable high-pass filter (20-4000 Hz, 12 dB/octave)

Variable low-pass filter (50-5000 Hz, 12 dB/octave)

Thanks so much!

OK Here is what I am down too. I will be running PPI 900.4's so about 145 Watts RMS though I will rarely play it that loud. I bought the SEAS Prestige 27TFFNC/G (H1396) 1" Textile Dome Tweeter to match with one of these woofers. I will not be running a dedicated sub, just a Peerless XLS 8 in the rear decklid where the stock 8 is now.

The doors will be sound deadened as well. Stuff should be here tomorrow.

Unless Android made some big changes to their core program, it should work just fine. Just like using a 4g phone on 5g sevice.

If the original plugs have been cut off, you may want to get some from a wrecked car. You could also search online for a radio pin-out for said model.
