If you have a nuclear reactor to power them
Yeah, that's my concern, I'd be strapping two soundqubed 2200's to one until I got my electrical up a bit more... I also don't have an ideal vehicle to run it (Scion TC - all glass) so I'm sure I'm losing a lot of air pressure.

I'd be getting them for what I consider a steal of a price though, which is why I'm looking at it as an option

I would never recommend a woofer that used oddball or proprietary size/shape parts. When/if it ever breaks where are you going to find 5" coil parts to repair it?

Also consider if you audition them and ever want to sell them you'll lose your arse on shipping if you can't re-sell them local.

I know shipping would be crazy on them... and it's near impossible to sell things locally here.

For example I sold my Zcon 18 for $175 because I didn't want to house it anymore and didn't have any plans for it. It took me 3 weeks to sell it at that price placing ads on all the local pages. Just to get a quick sale.

I can get these subs for right around $400 each though

Exactly why he moved away from this platform... feeding them 8k+ clamped and they were still needing more
With the most recent proto i did everything I could to keep the mass as little as possible. unfortunately the longer formers are a lot heavier then the shoter traditional 12 spoke baskets.. The cones substantially thicker and extremely strong.I could use alot lighter one but its not nearly as strong.

while its not the most efficient driver you can still get it pretty loud off of 2K but Ideal power is about 3 to 350i..if things go as planned on a different version of the same driver. Then again this is designed for a very linear stroke little Distortion and high output so it's a bit tricky versus just having a big street beat Woofer that can handle a shitload of power.

If I use a 4-inch coil and most certainly won't be the traditional topology it's just too inefficient
