Well, got up this morning to find out my alternator took a crap on me. Charging 11.8v @ idle. So chances of my car making it tomorrow is very slim. Ill try to borrow a truck and get down there though.

Well if I make it I can show you what 2 6 3/4" woofers with 40WRMS sounds like... free air! YEAH! BTW one is blown.

Tell me about it, it used to run anywere from 13.8-14.1 at idle. I wish I could just pick up a 200amp alt but at short notice, thats not exactly possible. The alt was OEM. Its the only part of my elec system I hadnt really upgraded.

I just picked up an OEM re-man from the stealership along with 2 belts (might as well) but we're so **** busy at work I dont have time to get this done.

Yeah, gotta love electical issues. At least I found out what mine was right away. Started the car, battery and brake lights were both on (9/10 times that = bad alt), put the voltmeter on just to be sure.

I'm not anywhere near complete as i hoped to be. My whole set up is still running off the fuzzy, peaky factory HU. I've been trying to buy a HU from a local shop for a week and a half, but they can't get it. Since when to shops turn down business?

The car lives... by the time I got home it was like 9ish so it was pointless to try to make it out to Firebird.

Oh well now I can get the car done. Finish the nitrous, swap the trans/converter and have it tuned.
