what awg wire should i run from the amp to the terminal cup? and from terminal cup to the subwoofers? they are 2 type r 12 running on a hifonics bxi 1606 thanks

you could run anything really usually run's around 16through 18

ok thanks. i as going to run 12 awg to my door speakers 100rms each becuase the guy at best buy told me they use 14 awg for the same speaker. so you only need 16 to run 800rms?

no i am saying he said 16 to 18 for amp to terminal cup to subs. the best buy people sayd 14 works for 100 rms for door speakers. its the same wire isnt it? speaker wire and wire from amp to subs?
