Just thought id give a heads up for anyone who cares- right now at tcsounds.com, the tc3000 is on sale for $125 off... **** nice price!
im heading to TC on monday to pick up my 4th 8" sub from em. Hopefully they can get that done on monday. If not, tuesday..thanks for the headsup. Heading to TC on tuesday.
The prices, slight inefficiency and weird wiring options are probably what deter most people from TC.agreed totally.. very nice drivers, but they arent really worth the price (5200 and 5400)... and im a tc sounds sackrider.

Ok, school me on this guys because I am not a BIG BASS guy....The prices, slight inefficiency and weird wiring options are probably what deter most people from TC.
no! the w7 isnt worth the asking price. so many company's make equal to or better products then jl for a lot less.Ok, school me on this guys because I am not a BIG BASS guy....Why is it that many spend hundreds..close to a thousand dollars on the JL Audio 13W7? Seems a 15" LMS-5400 or a TC-5200 would be a better sub for big bass?
Is it JL's marketing?
Myself, I would never spend that much for a single sub in the car...even if I had it to blow...But, I do understand that these are new technologies that are expensive to produce.
Nevertheless, I think TC's older and lower line are very nice subs and are about as much bass as I would need but I always wondered what makes people spend soo much on some of these ~$1k subs.? My guess is you guys don't think the 13W7 is worth the asking price?
