TC sounds rated these subwoofers for 1000w -3000w (depending on enclosure of course)

TC Sounds (TC-3000)

I have messed around with the round wire copper coil tc-3000's with the black cone and those definitely shouldnt see more than 1500wrms, however this one, with the flat wire aluminum coils (same as the audiopulse axis 12's i have for sale). Should not have any problem functioning on 2k rms and 3k for short periods/ burps (if thats what your into). The only downside i could see to running it on 2k would be depending on the enclosure volume and the tuning frequency. When tuned too low with too much volume they do have a tendency to bottom out, which a lot of people do because they dont pay attention to restriction that this woofer likes less volume. Basically, in short, in the right enclosure no one should have trouble running this on 2k. But i will not be held responsible for lack of research and user error.
