AVN 2454 Rear Camera

Is it true that on the eclipse 2454 the rear camera does not activate automtaically when you have the car in reverse.

I just had 2454 installed in my Honda Ridgeline with rear camera. I was told that on the 2454 model the rear camera can only be turned on by going to the menu screen/rear camera.

**** good thing you made this post I was about to buy a reverse camera today on ebay.

I got mine at ebay also. Pls don't get me wrong. It's still a nice feature especially if you have dark window tint. But I just thought eclipse would have considered the reverse feature on the design stages

Yeah I get you. Ill still most likely end up getting due to the good price. Ima look around for other ones before I do though.
