Not sure on the sub yet but I will be picking one of these TWO amps.

Out of these TWO amps which one should I get I'm going to let you guys pick it for me.

Being the Lanzar homer that I am I want to say Lanzar, but after looking at some prices it would be hard to say no to the A'tek. Same or similar price - more power, probably comparable quality.

This is NOT a pretty review, especially if you're someone who's picky about THD. It does pretty well at 4 & 2 ohms, but can barely get out of its own way at 1.

Well we have ran our new Mean Machines down at .35 and have been very impressed. Assuming you accept "rated power" as power at 1% thd or less, which I'm sure you're aware is the standard industry wide, then at 1 ohm it's not even in the ballpark. I'm no math major, but I don't think 772w = 1400

I guess you're one of those peolpe that gets pissy when facts contradict your opinion.

FWIW - the "junk" opti2000D blows the 1400D completely out of the water in EVERY category, and is only about $50 more.

As competitive as the DB Drag street classes are today, we sometimes spend hundreds of dollars to get a tenth. So yes, to me, that is killer.

I own the autotek and it is a solid amp. It ran for 8 hours straight and never got hot. Sound q is awesome and built like a tank.
