Auto Eq for 880prs

To anyone with a Pioneer 880prs, hows the Auto EQ? Is it easy to work with? Does it work well or is it one of the features that hasn't quite been perfected yet. I Was comparing the 780mp to the 880prs and the only real differences i can see in the audio features between the two is the 880 has Auto EQ and a dual l/r 16-band eq (the dual eq isn't really a big deal to me.) Appearance doesnt make much difference to me either. If ya ask me they both look pretty neat.

The Auto EQ feature kinda intrigues me but if it isnt really worth it, I just assume go for the 780 and save myself about $50. What do u guys think?

When i had my 880 i used the auto eq once, just to see.. It works ok but, will def. need to be touched up a bit with some manual eq'ing. You really don't need the auto eq unless, you are lazy and deaf..

It blows I wouldnt use it

880 also is 2 way active capable, 780 is not.
