Alright well im in the process of redoing my box... I painted it with some cheap *** car paint you get at mejiers. I need to do some bodo work on it so im sanding it down.

My question is. Do i need to sand the paint all the way off to get the bondo to stick properly or do i just need to sand it really well with some 60grit?

Yep, this.

Make sure to blow off the surface real good with compressed air to get all the dust off. If you wanna get real ocd, you could take it a step further and use some PPG DX330 wax and grease remover but its not really necessary unless you are painting.

I love me some DX-330!! Great stuff for cleaning panels for deadening too
