Authentic vs. Fake Diamond Amps?

I'm curious if there's a way to tell if a Diamond Amp is real or not? Or maybe refurbished? What should new Diamond Amps come with in the box? Cables? Birthsheet? Where is the serial number usually? What should the guts look like?

Basically, I'm trying to figure out where these eBay sellers get their amps from, and why they can sell them for $100 or so under what a dealer wants. Aside from the obvious (no factory DA warranty), are they factory seconds, refurbished items, or Chinese knockoffs?

Not sure if this helps...But some people have wholesale connects and buy an amp for lets say $110 but in stores they retail for $200 . so they go and put multiple amps for $130 and only make 20 bucks but sell a lot more..

The serial number should be on the bottom cover of the amp, but if its not an authorized dealer you have no warranty. They are either purchased from wholesalers or maybe authorized dealers that might be unloading that brand name.

What model is this amp u are lookin at... for a comparison i got to online discount stores that give like 50% off and stuff from over stocking gives u a good idea at reasonable prices... and KMOFOSHO makes a good point about the wholesale point.. i know ppl that go to liquidation sales and buy everything they see then get on ebay and sell them for up to 80% off the retail value.... just make sure the seller has a great rep and offers at least a 30 day warranty/ return policy and that is says unopened and not refurbished.. those are the only conditions that i will buy **** off ebay.
