Aura tweets

I just recently bought a set of Aura MR62 6.5" comps (thanks desertheatracing, AWESOME speakers!) and noticed that the crossovers have two options for the tweeter. They are 0db and -3db.

I would like to know which setting would benefit me the most.

If it makes a difference, I listen to rock anywhere from loud to real loud.

Do those settings mean that the tweeters will kick in at either 0db or -3db?

Thanks in advance.

not sure what you mean by kick in???

it's a simple attenuation (probably butchered that spelling)

it allows you to choose whether you want them on the same level as your mids(0db) or slightly lower than your mids(-3db) thats all //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

This thread is three months old but I had to chime in. I also found the 0 dB setting on the crossover to be a little overbearing so I quickly switched over to the -3 dB setting...just perfect...smooth, bright and airy but certainly not shrill or brittle.

I found that to be the case with all of my Aura speakers.
