No kidding, chill freakin out. And yes it was after you contacted me quite a bit later that i realized there was an error in the usps form which was our fault that sent your tweets to the wrong customer. And yes, how would I notice a mistake like this with hundreds of other orders going out a week? Sheesh, simple mistake. I planned to ship a new set right out but my girl was in a pretty serious car accident which I wrote you about AND you received via auto responce every nasty email you sent so you knew my situation. I was doing nothing but going to doctors appointments etc. I am sorry but no matter what, my family is more important than you ranting and raving freaking out and trying to turn me into the fbi secret service whatever, and all the other crap you said over an $18 set of tweets. Family is always priority to anyone which is why I really did ignore your nasty emails and not talk to you at all. I am a good seller period and have so many references it is insane. I am really sorry that the sale went the way it did but things happen.
As any good business man would do, even though your freaking out non stop, I offer you a refund on your shipping charges for the mistake and delay or you can send them back for a full refund + a refund on shipping charges to me. I totally apologise for the mistake that was made and things became out of my control. The fact remains that I did ship your tweets within 2 business days of payment, just sorry that the pdf file mistake was made and they went to the wrong place. But I will not apologise for me taking time for my family and making them #1 priority.

I said that I totally understood your situation with your family. MY issue was that you left me in the dark on the status of my order and that you never seemed to do what you said you were going to do. You said on more than one occasion that they were going to ship the next day. It was like you were a **** used car salesman , all you had to do was verbally say "I don't know when I will be able to ship your tweets b/c of this accident, but I will let you know when they ship" and I would have understood. Instead, you keep telling me "They will ship tomorrow."

As for the refund, you are full of it. I sent you numerous emails asking for a refund and YOU NEVER RESPONDED!!! If you want to send me a partial or full refund I will be happy to accept it and will consider it as compensation for my trouble.

To everyone else who bashed me in this thread:

The fact still remains that I had to wait over a month to get my product, which is totally unacceptable in my eyes. Even if you take out the family situation, it still took 3 weeks for me to be informed that there was a mistake with my order even after I had sent emails stating I had not received my order. So basically, DESERTHEAT knew there was something wrong, he just chose not to address it right away. Now after his girl's wreck, I understand. My issue is that he kept telling me they were going to ship and they never did.

Obviously he had some free time after his girl's wreck b/c he posted THIS new thread on March 29th stating that you had gotten a new shipment of tweets for sale. I was thinking he was taking car of his girl and that was why I had not gotten my order, but he was on this board soliciting new sales and I had not receeived my order yet. He was even shipping out orders that had been placed on this thread after my order before he even thought about shipping out my order! GIVE ME A BREAK!!! If you pay for something, don't reveive it and see the selling taking/shipping more new orders, wouldn't you get pissed also???

I was a paying customer who was left in the dark. If I would have gotten a refund or been kept up to speed on my order I would have been fine, but I got NOTHING!! I felt ignored and taken advantage of. Yes this was an internet order, but that is not an excuse for a month long ordeal. Maybe I am crazy, but when I send someone payment for a product I EXPECT TO GET MY PRODCUT IN A TIMELY MANNER OR HAVE A DETAILED EXPLANATION AS TO WHY I DON"T HAVE IT. I definately don't want to be ignored.

Maybe my threats were a little extreme, and I will apologize for that, but if you paid attention you will notice that DESERTHEAT didn't bother to offer me a refund, ship my product, or try to tackle this issue at all until I posted a threat on this board!!!!! Say what you want about my tactics, but they worked!

Yes, the threats were empty and it was a $22 order, but it was my $22 that I had worked hard for.

 
did i bash you or just tell you to chill out? give me a break. (though im sure i can bash you easily if i want to) who doesnt work hard for their $? we get it. we are also tellin you that you OVERREACTING. do they (tactics) work? they work at making you look stupid. i personally would've loved to take a guy like you to small claims b/c judges see thru this stuff all the time.

I was not specifically speaking to you. I don't care if my threats made me look stupid, they worked and got me the speakers I paid for. Honestly, I do agree with you somewhat. I think it was sad that I even had to use those threats to make DESERTHEAT ship my order.

As far as I am concerned, ALL IS WELL THAT ENDS WELL. I have my speakers and that is all I wanted. The only reason I posted the entire story was so I could defend myself against what DESERTHEAT posted.

The majority of us, and there are many, who have dealt with Desertheat know that he is one of the best. Improvement of his customer service is not an issue. Unfortunately, you were a victim of circumstace.

Should more posts come in slagging you, hopefully, you'll resist the urge to respond and let this die.

 
actually, to be objective, i think there is definitely room for improvement w/ CS. i hounded him via email/PM/AIM for 2 weeks, but got few responses, and never got a tracking #... but tweets came ok--albeit a week late. but of course, he isnt a dealer, so i wont hold to THAT high of a standard. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif
