i just ordered 4, 2/door...do u think i could image each driver so that the driver AND passenger has sound imaged to them instead of just the driver??

if you had a line array of them IN YOUR HOUSE, i would say maybe.

but in car, you will have a terrible time having a CORRECT sounding frontstage. and even so, they will never move enough air (maybe 10 of them will) for a proper frontstage.

and they are only rated for like 20w RMS. so giving them more than that daily is not a good idea.

ive had mine for a while and ive listened to alot of music (i have been using one channel (15w) off a sonic impact T amp, with the two 8ohm fullrange ran to 4ohm) and they do get tinny at times.

furthermore, if you wanted to use them in home for a line array, they arent really for sale anymore. and on another note - you would be better off using these anyway;

all in all, they are good for small projects in home, but are not sutible for your car. you are better off getting a nice pair of these tweeters rather than shelling out $100 for a line array of 10 of the 2" aura speakers -

claiming of all people, that i am a tard because i corrected the fact that you said these produced "midbass."

so what my friend, is your definition of midbass? because i have a pair of them sitting right on my desk, and they do in fact PLAY MIDBASS FREQUENCIES - they are very very lacking in authority for my tastes.

and if you didnt read into it - i was joking and adding a bit of sarcasm. so before people start calling throwing disrespectful terms like "tard" and "douche", get your facts straight.

I've been playing around with these for a few years now and love them. They are a very vesatile and easily implemented midrange. The high frequency extension is well enough to use with a tweeter (given a proper application), but they really open up a variety of tweeter options with your ability to pretty much HP your tweeters wherever you want.

Best setup so far was a 3-way with Midbass up to 400, Auras from there till 6500, and the tweets handling the rest. Worked great for me.

Oh, and Madisound is still selling them and actually a newer version was/is supposed to be available as an improvement was deemed necessary for wire connection purposes.

That makes sense, I found mine to be sort of weird to wire to, they werent labeled real well but its not exaclty for your average plug and play sorta situation anyways.
