Anyone else pick up the audison bitone yet??? Just replaced my rf 3sixty.2 with one tonight. So far so good. I think that its a little easier to setup than the rf but im still trying to learn the unit. Ill try to get pics up tomorrow.

I like the unit alot. Still playing around with it but it seems easy to use and seems very clean. No complaints so far.

What are you using for the h/u? Digital out? care to say how you have yours hooked up and what all you're doing with it?

I'll be driving 3-way front + sub. I've already put in my settings from my h701 so I'll see just how a direct swap goes. Hopefully there won't be a whole lot of tuning to get me back to where I am now.

there are a few pluses, and a few drawbacks. drawbacks are supposedly going to be fixed via firmware upgrade according to guy on DIY.

Are they going to fix that horrible bandpass limitation? Sounds awesome for what it can do at it's price, but that one thing is teh major suXor.

That’s what he said. He said he e-mailed or called (can’t remember which one) about that specifically and they said it would be addressed in a firmware. That’s heresay, though. I need to get contact info and ask them myself.

FWIW, I’m planning to have a big write up on it on DIY once I get it installed. Try to do it in the same fashion I did when I wrote the review on the w505.

I have mine installed in my 07 Subby. running a DDX812 at the head. Audison LRX5.1K on ID ultra Mini horns, ML165 mids and IDQ10V.3 subs.

I guess I still do not understand why it is such a huge deal with the crossovers slope on the top and bottom of the Bandpass. I have talked to the guys at elettromedia and it will be addressed in coming firmware updates.

on top of that you do not have the noise issues with the bit one like in the H701.

I think the adjustment is much easier than the 701 as well.

the T/A being adjustable in .02 MS is huge for super fine tuning. and the 1/10th db adjustments on the eq slides is incredible.

I agree. I love mine. The PC control is awesome and my favorite is being able to mute various channels while focusing on a single speaker or pair of speakers for level matching and t/a.

No noise to boot!
