Audison Bit Ten EQ adjustment

Hi All,

In regards to adjusting/tweaking a 31 band EQ, where do I begin to start? I want to clean it up a little bit for my listening preferences? Is there a science to it? I have Focal 6.5 components, Alpine Type-R in the rear doors and one 10 inch sub. I am running the Alpine V9, 500x1 and 100x4.

It seems so bass heavy, especially the mid bass and the sub is super powerful. I want more definition and boost in the highs? Where do I start?
