Audioque or AudioPipe?

bigger audiopipe amps do rated but barely and not always with a very clean signal, audioque delivers over rated clean power and better made. just get an aq2200 and be done with it, you will be pleased.
Just out of curiousity, I was wondering if you could show me a video an oscope hooked up to an audiopipe putting out a distorted signal at rating. I haven't seen it myself, but maybe you have one for me.

You can hear it.
Since I am not standing next to you I cannot hear it myself, but I did happen to use an oscope to set the gain on my brothers ap 1501 with no issues whatsoever in the signal. Maybe I just got lucky. If he didn't live 3 hours away, I would be more then glad to hook the oscope back up and take a video to show you. I have no argument about the quality of the components used in AQ over AP, but my personal experience with AP has been different from yours.

ap3k clamped at 2890 on 14.5v square as fawk, my brother had one, then got another, because he hought it was a fluke, i didnt see that one getting tested he said it did over rated but was still clipping. either way the fact is aq is better.

i have my gains set to be pushing 1500 @ 1 from my ap1500 and i don't notice anything weird
Ya'll don't have the magical ears like I do //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif

The AP 3k is only 2 ohms stable, it's basically 2 amps strapped together.
I was curious, so I checked vminnovations. According to their site, the ap3000.1D is rated for 2000@2ohm and 3000@1ohm, so I would assume it is one ohm stable. Since the AP is rated 2000@2ohm, I would say its more then safe to expect 1500 watts of clean power out of it. AQ does not list a 2 ohm rating on their site, but I would estimate it between 1000-1100 watts which you can expect will be clean power from an AQ. Now lets look at pricing, from vminnovations, the AP can be had for around 320 dollars shipped with the 5 percent discout. Going to audioque you are looking at 390 plus shipping, and they are out of stock for the next few weeks. Can you explain to me how the OP is better of spending more money for less power, unless he is planning on competing and needs his amp to do rated power?

its 3000 bridged at 2 ohms, 1500 rms on each channel @ 1 ohm each

I personally have the audiopipe ap30001d, and I havent had i single issue with it yet. Im pushing two 15" type r's. It isnt clipping unless u dont know how to set gains, or like to turn the vol on the deck up too high. If ur looking for cheap reliable power, I'd go with ap. Also, the ap30001d is 1 ohm stable, but on two channels. Hard toe xplain, but it is a mono amp, but is basically two 15001's internally bridged, and each "channel" is actually each amp. They are 1 ohm stable, but not bridged. only 2 ohm stable bridged.
