One is made in China by the thousands at a time right next to a line of umbrellas and another line of Barbie Dolls. The other is made by DD with the best parts that are available anywhere in the subs price range. Reliability and build quality as well as sheer grunt...all fall on the AQ side of the scale. It's probably considered a very biased reply by most here, but I install L7s regularly and DDs regularly. No real comparison. If you pit the Solo X version against the HD3, you may have a more fair comparison.

That is the honest truth you are asking of those who reply to your post.

maybe if your head wasnt up your *** you would have had a better response? dd vs l7 would be a good match up imo, both are sexy, and both will wang, but the dd will take more power....

People here got a real hard-on for three things, kicker, type r's, and RE. I have heard both and would take a 95 series over a L7.

I wonder why Wal-Mart does not assume any responsibility for 95% of the products that are sold in their stores? Because it's Chinese. All you'd have to do is take a trip to nearly any manufacturing facility in China and you wouldn't attempt to rebutt that statement above. There are 2 folks at best in any one of them that have a lick of sense and or care about the product. The folks that make those American Designed subs are paid about $0.19 per hour. I bet they give a huge shat about anything but meeting quota to keep their job.
