the one 12 should go good in 2.5-3cubez, right?

The HD312 works well in 1.7-2.5 cubes net. Tuning depends on yourpersonal tastes and application. For best sq tune to 35-36 Hz' date=' best

combo of sq and spl tune to 40 Hz, for max spl tune to 45-50 Hz. (45-50

your saying 40hz and right there in DJS email it says best combo for sq and spl tune to 40hz!! So how about this try it at 35hz and 40hz and see which one you like better, but we all have told you first hand (people that have used them) tuned at 40hz it still sounds like 36hz.......that simple so for you I am going to say it in simple terms:

3cubes BEFORE displacement, tuned at 38hz with 2k

i think im gonna build a new box this spring 2.5@40hz with 43.5" of port area, should sound alot better than my 2.4@35hz with 29" of port area

I know I prolly axed this question b4...but i 4got it...all I need is a simple yes or no answer....please don't flame....

Will two FI Q's 12's be as loud or louder than a single HD3 12?

depends on power, box, everything is a factor, but the fi Qs would have the edge considering its more CONE area. 24 inches > 12 inches, considering your running the rms of the subs then gotta go with the Q normally 2 subs will get louder then 1.

Both subs get very loud the FI Q and the HD3 are great subs with great people behind them and customer service.
