i was told that the 12 can go into 2 cubes and for music go with 35 hz

yeah, for music.....

i've also used the search button and some said go with 32hz.....

35hz gives a pretty flat response. 32hz should be sweetness.

But, I need my lows....this is for a daily driver for rap/Hip-Hop music.....

wouldn't 40hz kinda eliminate the lowness and sound quality...

Plus, I emailed DJ (dude from AQ) and head said 35hz for daily music....

but I heard otherwise for actual end users. So, thats why I made this thread.

if DJ says 35, then do 35...whats the big discussion?

i don't know who you've heard otherwise from but MOST people here got their suggestions straight from the source, and thats DJ himself, and he recommends 35-40

don't need to question why DD's are tuned higher then usuall, if you've searched, then you'd know...

Yep. And when two Audioque users say to tune to 40hz, then you should //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif I've tuned lower before and the SQ goes to crap IMO. The lows stay the same output wise, but there's a steep dropoff around 50hz. It is dependent on car/box size, but that's what I've found out by messing with this sub.

mine is 35hz, but ive never heard 40hz but im sure it would still sound just as good, hell do 37hz and be in the middle

what motor does that have, i have messed with numorous of other subs, lots of other manufactures use tc motors, what other subs have that motor? eclipse maybe?
