the eclipse ti's are pretty good woofers, Mr. mcvay used 2-15"s with 2 memphis 4kw on each coil for a 1 second burp and tons of batterys he hit 161 in advanced no wall for the WR in IASCA. lol no chris mcvay was using eclipse ti 15's 2 years ago in his mazda blow threw truck for the world record in advanced no wall. He did blow one of them and retired the truck but that was after he burped them over 100 times. His truck is retired and hes starting teamnortheast spl orgainization for the upper states. He has never used an AQ sub the first time hes seen them was when i showed up at an event at his shop and lets just say he was impressed //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif Just wanted to correct you so people wouldnt get the wrong information. thats a shizzer load of power for some 3000's, good numbers on that burp though. i had a chance to play with a 3hp with MT soft parts for a little while, had it in 3.9cubs @ 28 Hz. would have been alot better in a differant box but it was loud, my re xxx sounded beter in the box but for being in a not so good box that woofer still kicker ***.

wish i ad some juiece to burp my 4hp.

Yep. And when two Audioque users say to tune to 40hz, then you should //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif I've tuned lower before and the SQ goes to crap IMO. The lows stay the same output wise, but there's a steep dropoff around 50hz. It is dependent on car/box size, but that's what I've found out by messing with this sub.

3rd aq owner..I played with box tuning and I personal found 40hz to be just about right.

Do 35hz and if you dont like it change the port to 40hz. what kind of port you using?

X2 the only way to find what ur gonna like is to play with different tuning till ur happy/happier.

all I can say is I hope you know what your doing, because you dont need 2500-3000rms on the hd3 series woofers, as I stated 2k will get the job done and thats 1000more then the rms, have faith in us, most of the time when we all seem to agree on somthing and your the only 1 that doesnt, pretty much means we are right and your wrong, not to mention the fact we have had the chance to play with these toys, and you havnt even seen them in person. Bottomline dont ask for help if your not going to listen, your wasting our time and yours.

Aq Hd3 tune at 38-42hz depending your application with 2k watts and you wont be unhappy
