Hey peeps,

Havnt been on in awhile but im getting ready for this season. I decided to change competition classes this season because the 12"s need alot more internal cub ft than what my vehicle could provide. Im gonna order a pair of Audioque HD10s within the next couple of weeks. Should I purchase the dual 1.5ohms or the dual 2ohms??? Each woofer will be powered by an Orion 2500D. Ive been thinking of the 1.5ohm coil configuration because of enclosure impedance rise and all that but than again I dont want to kill my amps so soon. Need some opinions.

id do the 2 ohm.

Get two 1.5's wire in parallel for comps which ur final imp should be .38 but imp rise will effect that . Also you can wire in series for daily if you wanted for 1.5 ohms . Yes each subwoofer will have its own orion 2500D powering it. Im still undecided, DJ Langford over at Audioque told me people have powered both coil configs to the Orion 2500D, but I just dont wanna kill the amps before finals, has anyone burped the orion below .75ohms alot?? I just dont know because I know of enclosure impedance rise but I also do know maybe at a certain frequency, hopefully at my burping freq, the impedance will decrease as well. I just dont know.
