Of Course, I Can't Decide

I have been looking at subs for months, and still can't decide..I am also unable to listen to any subs prior to purchasing them...Alright, I am looking for SQ most importantly, however I also want the capability to feel the bass hit me in the chest...Having said that, What do you guys think about the Alphasonic PSW810 Alpine Type X Boston Acoustic G510 Eclipse 710, 810, or 910 differences? Infinity Kappa Perfect JBL W10 GTi Diamond D6 or D9 differences? or JL W6v2 All of which are 10"...Due to the sound I think I want, I think I will be getting two...These subs vary in price from $200 to $400, but I am not sure if it is necesarrily worth it to spend twice the price, since some brands may be just as good as others at a lower price...Also, What do you think about CDT HD-1020 and Visonik V108D4 for subs?...I would appreciate to so much if you could share with me your thoughts about any of these subs..I know there is a lot there, but any advice or information concerning any of these subs would be most helpful...Thanks again.

out of what you listed. i would get a pair of JL W6v2's.

they are great sounding speakers. and contrary to popular belief, the size of a speaker does not dictate its frequency response in subwoofer land.

you said you wanted bass that would hit you in the chest- this lends more to midbass, and not subbass. you would definatly want to look into upgrading your frontstage speakers [with an amplifier as well] on top of your subwoofer choice.

as far as bass that is clear and accurate [ie: sound quality] and can get quite loud, i would recommend a low tuned ported box, or a sealed box with about 500w to each w6. i would also recommend getting 12's simply because the extra cone area will give them the benifit of not having to use as much excursion wich lends to less distortion and higher efficency.

How do the W6s compare to the W7s in price??

I owned a triplet of the first line of W6s (dual 6 ohm) from back in the 90s and loved the SQ. But low and behold I found a better pair of SQ woofers and haven't looked back.
