audioque amp for kicker

Im thinking about getting an aq1200d to replace a dsc1000.1 for my 15" l7 kicker. Can the kicker handle being over powered by 200 watts? 1200 > 1000rms on the l7's max? Im running 1/0 but granted that 1 ohm wiring isnt very efficient should I even worry about it reaching that many watts anyway?
