330? when i worked at bestbuy my discount was 280, but id go aq def for price..i dont think it would be a huge difference in amps either even if they were closer in price..i had the 1200d and was happy with it

you will get more power out of the fosgatebut will also cost more

probably not they aq will prolly do slight more power.... never tell an audible diff

audioque all the way; aq is basically sundownz but for the cheap; i had a power acoustiks 1800db; sold that and got an AQ 1200d; even though im pretty sure they put out the same power; you can here a world of difference from the two; for the money Aq is were its at

true in a way..... but just becouse 2 amps use the same board doesnt mean there the same amp..

i would compare the AQ to a lesser version of the Digital designs more than a sundown...

I have two 12" Alpine Type R's and my other amp just blew and was wondering which amp to get...

or the AudioQue 1200D for 250... i've heard nothing but good things about this amp but im not sure which one to get... any advice??

Actually, I would say go for the AQ, unless you believe in the hype associated with Rockford Fosgate's patented class BD topology and want to spend more money. I ran a P1000 for about the last ten months. Birth sheet states that it puts out an even 1400rms @ 1ohm. Lots of power but could never get my head around the class bd thing. I pulled it out and went with a Sundown SAE1200D. With settings the same, I get way more power from the SAE1200D than I did with the P1000. I love RF and used their stuff for years, but have really started looking for alternatives when it comes to amps. I have the Sundown in one of my rides and a Memphis in the other. So much other quality gear out there for way less money.

I would go AQ and thats just because I think rockford eats balls, always have since the mid 90s

I have a circa 2003 Power 1000 bd that I picked up from a friend for $50 and it is supposed to output 500 @ 4 and 1,000 @ 2. He let it go for peanuts because he lost some of the set screws and no one wanted to purchase it because of the missing screws. IIRC, the set screws cost me a whopping $1.68 @ either Lowes or Home Depot.

well im down to either the

sundown sae 1200 d for 200 shipped with a 90 day warrenty or

Audioque 1200d for 250 shipped with a 1 year warrenty

what do you think?!

That Sundown seems fairly cheap.. are you buying authorized? If not, I'd pay the extra $50 for the AQ to get their full warranty.

Yea im buying the sundown from an authorized dealer... its the older sae1200d model that is the reason its only 200
