i just wanted to point this out and it's almost completely off topic here. but everyone agrees tis is a solid and good sounding amp. to get the claimed 1400+ watts one sees 5% thd. well my earthquake sounds phd2 made 1800+watts at 2ohm at 6.4% thd and got totally flamed for it. but here many years later this is excepted with little thought. just wondering why the phd2 is considered spl only because of this yet peeps buy amps today with such high thd and don't give it thought.

I've used earthquake amps for years. D2 D3's & D5's. They never let me down. Powerhog amps but I'll jump on a D3 any day of the week.

This tested well on youtube - not familiar with the brand but it is a pretty standard china build house amplifier...

I agree with every one above. OFC is much better. Copper is a much better conductor than aluminum.
