Audiopulse REVO Q's

I have two sub amps; two of the older MTX 1501D's. I don't want to use both on my next install unless I have to.

The question is can I run two 12" Audiopulse Revo's rated at 1500watt RMS each off only one MTX 1501D Putting out 750RMS per each sub? I heard the power rating on the REVO is an over-rating, I am just wondering if in a sealed box 1500Watt Max per sub will get them to thier rated Xmax of 28mm. I don't want to blow any woofers, I just want to get the most excursion but not necesarily SPL out of the subs for the low notes. I would rather keep my second 1501D as a back up, and save the hastle of installing an extra amp.

Would I be better off with the Audiopulse brand, ID max subs or is there a better value sub with a high Xmax suited for SQ in a sealed box?

given your power and wanted sq for a 12", the revo id say is IMO the best choice. also, id suspect the revo would be able to handle up to 2k daily seeing as pretty much the entire ap line is underrated.

Go with the Epic...I have (2) of the TC-1000's (same sub as the Epic...just a color change in the basket) and they are handling +/- 850rms each all day long

Put them in a sealed box more towards the higher side of the specs (mine are in a 2.2cf box) and you'll get the low excursion as well as some very nice SQ out of them
