Audiopipe question

Also what does strap the 1500's together mean?
Its how you connect both amps together and get one output between the pair of amps. This is ideal for the application due to setting the gains on two different amps will be harder, and you will want each amp to put out exact same power/gain. So, its alot easier to "strap" them together for one single output. Strapping two AP15001d amps will give you a final output of 3000 watts @ 2 ohms, perfect for your subs.

Two ap15001 is the same exact thing as the ap30001 amp, its just two 1500's inside one case already strapped.

So yes, you can run one amp for now, then buy another later and it would be the same as the ap3000 amp anyways..

ok thanks for answering my questions westman, how do you strap them together though so they act like 1?

i kno soundstream amps can be hooked together with their Twin Stack Technology TM (strap amps together for double power).

but how exactly is it done? also if you strapped to ap1500's together wouldnt it be 3000@1ohm and 2000@2 ohm?
