Just saw this on the bay. At first, I though expensive, but it seems quite promising. Supposedly built like an American Bass 500.1. Discuss?

With all the raving when they came out, I would have thought these would be all over the place by now. Theres only been a few on the forums (that ive ran across anyway). Thought there would be clamp test on all of them by now. The prices arent bad at all compared to other amps in their respective ratings.If they do rated that is. They do look quite beefy on the inside! The only thing is, they dont state the rated wattage at higher impedences. All I can find is the 1ohm ratings.

That is what I thought but the AB 500.1's go for almost that used I believe.

True. it can handle all types of voltage though.

It does look a lot like the AB 500.1 internally. But I have no knowledge of amp internals and whats what. The layout looks the same if that counts for anything. The components may all be different. But its good ol Korean made, so maybe a decent amp considering everyone raves over korean amps.

I really do like audiopipe though, to an extent.. some of their stuff is worth the money no problem.

That's always been the regular though. I've had 7 1300s, 2 apsm1500s, 1 4080, 4 ap30001s, 2 ap1500, 1 1800 thus far. Loved them all.

im sure its a great amp as the rest of there amps out there. they havent had a single batch of bad amp out where ya cant say bout most any other brand out there.

just saying audiopipe isnt all bad it is always improving...

Bet if you dropped all of the cookie cutter 5k amps in the same install the performance to price ratio would put this one near the top..
