after rise it should be just about enough power if you keep it below the distortion threshold. I wouldnt put those subs in a bandpass box unless its a properly designed 4th order. If its a premade box, burn it.

if you can, have the motors in the ported section so you can tell when the subs are stressed.

Reason why I posted this was because I was getting a deal on a jl 1200 class d amp I figured it would be a sound overall

If its a regulated power supply JL, that amp should be better on all accounts in both output and sound quality.
