Audiopipe Amps?

I didn't say go out and buy a hifonics amp buddy. I know hifonics isn't the best either. I was staying on topic unlike you and stating my opinion which is what the topic started wanted.
with that said, why would you stay away from audiopipe, but not hifonics?

Do either of you have experience with them? Just wondering why you said that....
Isnt one of the audiopipe amps the same one with the board that the RE 12.1 uses?
correct its the same board but nothing to do really with the output

I have heard a lot more good stuff about hifonics then I have audiopipe.

I have heard a 3000 watt audiopipe amp hooked up to two audiopipe 15s. Along with 3 audiopipe caps in a tahoe and it didn't sound that great.

read post #6, you heard wrong, they don't make a 3000 watt amp

i didn't mean to bash you, it's just wierd that you would say stay away form audiopipe but buy a hifonics amp

Well the guy said it was 3000 watts but who knows. He is an audiopipe dealer too. He is a jackass though. He thinks he has the loudest system in arkansas and memphis. But a couple weeks ago he was at a comp that i went to and he had two audiopipe 15s running 2000 watts to each of them in some little car and he hit a 142 and ended up blowing on of the 15s.

edit: oh and the reason i got the hifonics amp is because I got a good deal on it. I got it for $180 along with some 4 guage wire and a 200a inline fuse.

I was planning on getting a memphis amp.

a buddy of mine has three of the blue 15" eye candy's on a 20.1 @ .67 and its slamming, most likely a 150

the most recent xx goliath tested in ca&e didn't...im not sure which one it was rated at 5000wrms only did 4600 at the highest rating

4600 is plenty for anyone imo, nor am i sayingthat the amp is not baddass, but if i paid for 5k id like to get 5k

So what's the deal? I have mixed opinions here the internals look pretty beefy and it is CEA rated to do 2000RMS. Which most of the time that means they do rated power and more. I just want to know about the durabilty and dependabilty. Is it well built or piece that will blow up in no time?
