cool, i mean both the 1500 and 1800 would b set for 1200-1300 rms at 1 ohm. i just like the bigger amp the guts of the 1800 to me are better. looks to b built a tad better for the 300 watts or so.Get the 1800. If you discover a large amount of voltage drop get the 1/0. And yes you will be fine with a 150 amp fuse.
cosign the quart 1500 is better than the ap 1500 or 1800 i had all three amps and really liked the ap but the dsc was much better, but if you are wondering if the 1800 is worth it, its not i could hear no difference between the 1500 and the 1800I would get the MB Quart 1500d. The audiopipe 1800 is basically the same amp as the 1500.
im gona save the 30.00 or so and put it to some better use. ummm like food for the house or my dogs. thanks guys im gona stick with the 1500 on my 12's.cosign the quart 1500 is better than the ap 1500 or 1800 i had all three amps and really liked the ap but the dsc was much better, but if you are wondering if the 1800 is worth it, its not i could hear no difference between the 1500 and the 1800
i seen some gut shoots it looks to b built a tad better. i would not go by the size of the amp and being 16 volt stable is somthing i could care less about. i just wana b able to power my new subs. i kinda need 1600rms for the subs but im gona go a little under what each sub calls for . im not looking to burn up the coilsThe 1800 is 4" longer than the 1500, so it has to be better right? The 1800s are also 16v stable.
