Hifonics. Not a fan of chrome.

They seem to put out close to the rated power.

Of the two I'd go Hifonics....but I'm not super crazy about either of them.

I dont think so. They have very good amps. Much better than say sony's overrated amps. There only down side's are reliability and customer service/support.

Now there speakers thats a different story.

IMO - I'de still chose a Hifonics amp.

Save some money, and buy an amp that won't be a boat anchor in a month.

have a majority of you even used audiobahn, or are you just conforming to the popular forum opinion of audiobahn's products? i own an audiobahn amp, and it works perfectly. i also have used an audiobahn sub, and it sucked ***. i'm able to make a valid opinion of their products. if you arent speaking from experience, then dont post an opinion.

Used? Never. Installed? Dozens. You want to know how many Audioblow's I see come back with a fried channel? At LEAST one in five.

You know how many cheap-a$$ Lightening Audio amps I've had come back with a blown channel? 3 (out of at least 100). Just for a comparison.

Now, when they're not committing amplifier hari-cari, they seem to work ok. But for the money, why take the chance?

ya but 80% of the guys that get bahn amps think they are cool arses and think they can crank on it being a volume master. some of the funniest stuff i ever seen people do exactly what you tell them not to do. if its under warranty i used to leave it set a few days before i sent it in to "get the message" to boneheads that have this really retarded feeling that if it can be turned up louder its perfectly ok.if i was a hard a$$ like some shops they wouldnt warranty it.

Im thinking about a Hifonics Brutus amp for my 3 JL w3 12's anyone think this might be a ok idea, or just go with somthing better?
