Well I think my Audiobahn has really good SQ and SPL.

i dont really like them,i dont like the way they sound.

i have heard some audiobahns get kinda loud but never i have never heard one with good sq at all, nor have i heard any circuit city/best buy sub that has good sq... correct me if i am wrong but i don't think audiobahn produces anything with good sq

wow... i thought that someone would have ripped audiobahn hard on this thread

personally i like audiobahn subs/amps/whatever but i hear people dissing them all the time... maby its just personally preference. i had 3 alumQ12's in my hatchback on a A18001DT and i think i have still to this day not heard a system that sounded as good.

also, just because a large retail chain (best buy, circuit city, etc) carries a few low end subs of speaker compaines such as fosgate(punch z's) and audiobahn (AW122T's) doesnt mean that RF and Audiobahn can't still have nice high end subs.

Audiobahns sure do pound... I work at a circuit city. I personally wouldn't buy their subs because they're kind of expensive and we all know there's a lot of better lesser known brands for cheaper. The SQ on audiobahn subs isn't that great, but most people buying them don't care for SQ, they just wanna be loud. I am considering an Audiobahn amp as I saw a good place to get them online.

i'm totally not impressed with anything audiobahn makes. its fancy dressed up chromed out all flamming designs as a coverup of crap products. sounds mean but i've heard so many audiobahn subs & amps and they constantly disappoint. its all hype.

I dont know about everyone else, but the reason i dont like adiobahn isnt because they have bad sq but its because i've run into alotta ignorant people who think they know a lot about audio who own them... u will ask them what kind of subs they have and they will tell u audiobahns ...i then ask what kind of audiobahns ( expecting the type of model ) they say i have the 12's ... so i say okay but what kind do u have and then they get hasty and say somehting like " duh...i just said , i have the 12" and thats why i dislike audiobahn

If they spent half their budget that they spend on chroming the bejesus out of things on R&D, they conceivably could be okay.

Honestly Audiobahns are not that bad.

I would not Personally buy any of the subs besides the alum series though.

The sound is good not the greatest but hey I messed up building my first box.

I have hit High DB's and people wonder how with just 2 10's

Then they see my audiobahn amp and test the strength and that.

The chroming I agree with woudl be better if they did not Chrome everything.

Yes there is tons of better speakers if you want to pay more.

Where I live everyone has JL I hate JL!!!!

Over Priced and well my 2 10's outperformed 2 jl 10's not sure which model anymore but hey thats when I first got my Alums

JL sounds good but so do my Alums when in a proper box.

Currently IM Sampling with what size of box to go with to get a better sound.

Dont just buy any old box...

Cause there is 3 key factors for the box well a few more....

1 your subs handling

2 your amps output which goes back to subs handling what yoru pushing to it.

3 What cf would be best for that....

4 materials.

im not that great of a car audio person anymore.

You could take 2 cheap subs and make good sound with them with the proper box and layout...

Been done before.

Thats Back in the day of ISOBARIK Systems....

Does anyone use isobarik anymore?

thought about trying it with the alums but scared to cause a Problem lol....

Isobarik use to be the only way to go for deep hard hitting bass..

oh and clean also...

using cheap or good speakers...

True Audiophile knows about how to make cheaps speakers sound decent I will say.
