im a newbie to all this sound system stuff but i just ordered some audiobahn AW1206T's are these subs good i got them at a great price like $130 a piece. i wanna know what amp or amps i should get looking for something like $300 to $500. and what kind of enclosure would u guys recomend? and also for my component system which one would you audiobahn guys recomend because i know all you other guys are probobly gonna flame me for getting audiobahn but neways thanks for you help.. MAN I NEED ALOT OF HELP lol

i'd recommend a ported box as well, and i've heard audiobahns ratings are somewhat overrated, what the rms on them? like 1100?i'd recommend about 700-900watts, maybe a hifonics bx1500d (about 650-750 to each one) or a bs1800d (not sure on the power), you'll pretty much always get flamed for owning abahn, sony, etc, etc, (not saying anybody has), but it's all about what u want, those WILL get loud though......they just won't sound the best doin it.

You could have gotten some better subs for cheaper with the RE group buy, but they are alright. I would recommend ported
Sorry to hijack your thread but I must ask this... Do they ship to Canada? (The Group Buy) I will pay extra...

Depends on how much you are lookin' to spend? I'd go with something other than Audiobling for components....there's much better available for the money.

thanks for your help i know it the wrong forum but whatever since u said there are better component systems what would you recomend squeak? also for the hifonics amps should i get one or two of them like one to each sub ?

As for the AW1206's yes go ported and big. And about the power handling some can and some cant do the rms in my experience. Of course ive never used them at their rated ive always used more power than it's rms or significantly less power than it's rms. For an amp for those if you wanted to go the audiobahn route i would get i A1500HCT personally. There are some other amps out there though. Im assuming you got 2.

Id like to add Dynaudio, Adire, RE, Morel, Scanspeak, Seas, JL Audio and Alpine to that list.
Scanspeak themselves don't sell pre-assembled comps, do they? Cause I honestly don't think he is ready for DIY yet....LOL. And might as well as Peerless Definitions to the list.... //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

Revelators are sold as a full comp set aren't they? I thought they were.

By way of Alpine F#1's //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif
I know the F#1's are tweaked Revs, but aren't Revs sold by SS as a comp set? Ive heard Revs, I just never asked how the guy bought them. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif
